Oh the journey

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct Your paths. Proverbs 3: 5- 6

If you’ve ever been on a long car ride, or maybe a short one, you realize how fun or annoying it can be. These factors are dependent on who you’re journeying with, where you’re headed traffic and yes, even the red lights!

Regardless of the ride or the conditions, we might all know someone who makes the best of any situation, or someone that just knows random facts about cars which can be helpful if something were to happen. This comes handy as you move along the journey.

Then we have our external situations, my personal fav, the traffic lights…
See how they show red, yellow or green, indicate move or prepare to stop or stop, in same way, we have the Holy Spirit prompting us in our long / short journeys with Christ.

When we get saved, our life transforms for the better and he absolutely loves us beyond our imagination! Most often than not, like a car ride, we start excitement and joy as we move to the destination. We could be moving extremely at a fast pace, or mid pace or slow. All that doesn’t matter, it matters if we’re moving with Jesus and not leaving Him behind, while also following His GPS.

One thing I’ve come to realize is that He can navigate us best to the destination that is right and peaceful. So when you meet those reds and it’s a stop here for a while and we feel frustrated, remember, God is guiding our way so as long as we follow His map, we’re good.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9

Today, I challenge you to allow God to be the navigator in your life and as you allow Him to be, choose to trust Him and follow His leading. 🙂 (Even when it looks tough)

And it helps to go with others in the faith! You strengthen each other along the way.
